PHILOSOPHY

In our learning zone, we may only be Year 3, but we do Philosophy...

There are no right answers, no wrong answers... but we talk, think and question to try and get to better answers.

Today we discussed learning GOALS and after our discussion we almost all agreed that goals are a good thing.  Here is why...

Goals help you reach your potential in learning.

Without goals, you forget what you are aiming for.

If you aim for something, you can earn it.

If you don't have goals, you won't know what you learn.

By trying hard you earn your goals.

Goals help the teacher  know what you want to learn.  (I like that one)

You can see your goal the next day, so you don't forget what you are working on.

It is good to aim for one thing at a time.

It is good to choose your own goals to work on so you can decide.

and finally...

Goals pump up your brain for learning.

So that's why we will be setting some learning goals!
